I lived in the Dickinson College Center for Sustainable Living, which is also known as the Treehouse, for three semesters during my time at Dickinson College. The Treehouse is a LEED gold certified building and was the first residence hall in the state of Pennsylvania to earn this designation. The Treehouse houses fourteen residents.

As a Treehouse resident I committed to living a sustainable lifestyle by reducing my water usage, being mindful of the electricity that I used and working to foster a strong sense of community within the house and among the campus community. Aside from being a living space, the Treehouse also holds community events such as Open Mic Night and Soup & Bread dinners which include a small lecture and discussion with a Dickinson professor.

While living in the Treehouse I served as secretary, facilities liaison and community outreach coordinator.
